CVS and Volunteer Centre Vacancy - Finance Officer
The Council for the Voluntary Sector and Volunteer Centre for the Falkirk Council area supports, develops and represents the community and voluntary sector in the local area. The area has in excess of 800 organisations and over 28,000 volunteers serving a population of over 150,000 people. We are seeking to recruit the following post:
Finance Officer, Maternity cover - 12 month contract £18,596 plus 6% pension contribution (pro rata, 28 hours per week)
We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to administer the day to day finances of the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the organisation's finances and accounting systems.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and basic accounting skills in financial bookkeeping. Knowledge of charity accounting and use of Sage Line 50 accounts would be desirable.
